Conchita lived and sanctified all the
states of Christian life: fiancee, wife, mother of nine
children, grandmother, widow and by a special indulgence of
Pius X, without being deprived of her family status, died
canonically as a religious in the arms of her children.
She addresses to all the People of God: to single and
married people, to priests and to bishops, to religious and
to all consecrated lives.
Conchita was also a mystic and a spiritual writer.
For more than forty years, on the advice of her spiritual
directors, she faithfully kept a spiritual diary that
numbered sixty six handwritten manuscripts which equals in
amplitude the Summa of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Conchita (1862-1937) vivió toda su
vida en México. Realizó todas las vocaciones de la mujer: novia,
esposa, madre, viuda, abuela, bisabuela y aún por indulto especial de Pío X,
sin abandonar nunca su ámbito familiar, murió canónicamente religiosa, entre
los brazos de sus hijos.
Se dirige a todas las categorías del Pueblo de Dios: a los laicos, a los
sacerdotes y a los obispos, a los religiosos y a todos los que llevan una vida
consagrada.
Conchita fue también
una mística y escritora. Instrumento de Dios para comunicar la Espiritualidad de la Cruz, enseñar al mundo la Cruz del Apostolado e inspiradora en la Iglesia de las Obras de la Cruz.
Por la profundidad de sus escritos, Conchita es émula de una
Catalina de Siena o de una Teresa de Avila. |
